So, here's the thing. What Springleap need to learn is the importance of managing expectations. Had their mail said, "hey, thanks for ordering from springleap, we handmake every shirt with love and as such it can often take a few months to get to you, but just think, when it arrives it'll be like that R50 note you find in the pocket of your jeans a month later - and everyone loves surprises."
That's a lot better than, "it's on its way on the next train." and then not sending it.
One other thing, I paid for this shirt, why do I have to have springleap.com printed, in large type on it? If they want to advertise on my apparel they should subsidise the price...!
Update: Okay so not strictly ironic... the shirt was shipped 25-mins after yesterday's tweet - ah, the power of social media. I did however get a really nice mail from Eric apologising for the balls up, so that rocks.
